Thirty-two U.S. Presidential Scholar candidates from public and private schools were honored in Fargo Wednesday night after being invited to apply for the prestigious program based on their academic achievements.
American Experiment North Dakota helped sponsor the event, which was held at the Avalon Events Center.
The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, established in 1964, recognizes and honors some of our nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors who demonstrate strong academic achievements, exceptional talent in the visual, creative and performing arts, or ability and accomplishments in career and technical education fields. As directed by the Presidential Executive Order, two student candidates from each state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and several living abroad will be awarded the U.S. Presidential Scholars medallion in June.
American Experiment North Dakota was pleased to support the area’s top students and their accomplishments, and we wish them the best in their future endeavors.
